Nassau Museum Tour & Reception
June 28, 2018 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Join Nassau Museum of Art director Charles Riley (’79) for a private tour of Anything Goes: The Jazz Age, a blockbuster exhibition of the art, music and literature of the Jazz Age. Wild, hot, roaring and the endless source of masterpieces, the Jazz Age was an amazing era. It’s all here in one museum, from the original Victrolas and a drawing by Gershwin to paintings by Picasso and Stuart Davis, Lachaise sculpture, Art Deco jewelry, Josephine Baker drawings and posters, dresses by Coco Chanel, a first edition of Joyce’s Ulysses, the original cover art for The Great Gatsby (loaned by Princeton) and even the Hobey Baker award, named for Princeton’s most famous athlete. This tour, led by the director and curator, will conclude with a private wine reception in his office. Please meet directly in the lobby.
