Joining the Club

We appreciate the knowledge, service, and leadership that faculty and staff provide to their respective college communities.  Thus, faculty and staff of Williams College and our 34 other affiliate colleges and universities are offered Club membership at a reduced rate.  As members, faculty and staff can reserve accommodations and rent event spaces for their institutions.   

The Club offers a congenial environment to meet colleagues, socialize with friends, and quietly work.  Members and their guests have access to the Club’s Restaurant, its Bar and Grill, the Palestra Fitness Center,  the Business Center, the Members Lounge, and the facilities of 150+ reciprocal clubs around the world.  Members can also attend the events of both the Williams and the Penn Club.  

 

 
 

Membership Costs

Faculty and Staff receive almost half off the full price of membership!  Faculty and staff who live or work beyond 50 miles of the Club pay only $450 in annual dues and an equal amount in initiation fees.   Those who live or work within 50 miles of the Club pay $800 and an equal amount in initiation fees.

Initiation and Dues must be paid in full at the start of membership.  Initiation is a one time fee.  Dues are paid annually at the start of the Club year.  The Club year runs from July 1 to June 30.  The initial dues payment is prorated by the whole month.
