New York Philharmonic Open Rehearsal

*Please note the rehearsal is in the morning. All open rehearsals are “working” rehearsals and therefore the program may not be played in its entirety and the appearance of any soloist is not guaranteed.  
Come join an open rehearsal of the New York Philharmonic. Open rehearsals begin at 9:45AM and end at approximately 12:30PM (at the discretion of the conductor), with one intermission. Open rehearsals are a fascinating opportunity to watch the New York Philharmonic at work and see how a piece of music is shaped and polished by the conductor and the musicians. This rehearsal will be conducted by Matthias Pintscher featuring violin soloist Renaud Capuçon. The program includes Ravel’s Alborada del graciosoStravinsky’s The Firebird and the New York Premiere of Mar’eh by Matthias Pintscher
