Join fellow PCNY members for an exclusive evening of theater at the Amateur Comedy Club (ACC). The ACC is a non-profit theater group that produces plays performed entirely by its members several times a year in unbroken succession since the Club’s founding in 1884. This spring, the ACC presents “An Evening of Chekhov,” two one-act farces that navigate the complexity of human interaction: suspicion, hypochondria, hysteria, boasting, social form and desire. Though best known for his lengthier plays, Anton Chekhov also wrote one-act comedies, including A Marriage Proposal and The Boor, in which he shows the lighter side of Russian country life.

After the play, ACC members will be available to answer any questions and give a Club tour for those interested in learning more about ACC.
