The “Chase for 28” has been another exciting regular season for the AL East Champion New York Yankees, with Derek Jeter getting his 3000th hit (which some lucky Williams Club members were at the Stadium to see first-hand!) and Mariano Rivera becoming the all-time Major League Baseball saves record holder.
In what has become a fall tradition, due to the generosity and personal approval of Hal Steinbrenner ’91, the WILLIAMS CLUB has once again secured 10 TERRIFIC seats for all home games throughout the playoffs, starting with the AMERICAN LEAGUE DIVISION SERIES. We also have that same block of ten seats for the AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES and the WORLD SERIES as well, assuming the Yanks get that far, which we fully expect they will. (Go Yankees!)
So ACT IMMEDIATELY to participate in the lottery to determine who will get these much in-demand tickets.
Exact game dates/times and team matchups remain to be determined by final regular season standings and home field advantage. Possible schedules are included below. THE DETAILS
Limit of two tickets per member, unless extra tickets remain.
When: The lottery will open NOW. Submissions will be received until Noon on Wednesday, September 28, when the drawing will be conducted and winners will be announced. Tickets will be available for pickup at the front desk of the club after Noon on Thursday, September 29.
Prices: ALDS Field Level Tickets: $310 each
ALDS Main Level Tickets: $75 each
ALCS Field Level Tickets: $485 each
ALDS Main Level Tickets: $135 each
WS Field Level Tickets: $580 each
WS Main Level Tickets: $200 each
We have 4 Field Level (Section 126, Row 13) and 6 Main Level (Section 209, Row 4) tickets to each game. A chart with the view of the field from these seats can be seen at http://newyork.yankees.mlb.com/nyy/ballpark/seating_pricing.jsp.
How: Requests will only be received via email. Indicate the games you want in order of preference for each pair of tickets. Be sure to include your name, member number, preferred games, level of tickets (Field Level, Main Level, or Either), daytime phone, credit card number and expiration date. Requests will not be processed without all of the above information.
The first person picked will get their first selection, and so on, until all the seats are taken. If any tickets remain after the lottery, members will be given the opportunity to purchase additional pairs of tickets according to their next best selection(s) available and in the order in which names were drawn originally.

5 – Sunday, October 9 (Game 2) OR Wednesday, October 12 (Game 4)
6 – Saturday, October 15 (Game 6*) OR Thursday, October 13 (Game 5*)
7 – Sunday, October 16 (Game 7*)
World Series
8 – Saturday, October 22 (Game 3)
9 – Sunday, October 23 (Game 4)
10 – Monday, October 24 (Game 5*)
* if necessary.
In addition, as season ticket holders, we have two extra tickets to Home Game 1 of both the ALDS and ALCS! The ALDS seats are located in Section 419, Row 14 and cost $110 for the pair. The ALCS seats are located in Section 414, Row 8 and cost $140 for the pair. Members are invited to enter this lottery as well to win these seats, which is separate from the one listed above and will also be conducted at Noon on Wednesday, September 28.

Only if you are selected to receive game tickets will your card be charged – and, of course, the ticket amount will be refunded if the game in question is not played.
