Come join an open rehearsal of the New York Philharmonic. Open rehearsals begin at 9:45AM and end at approximately 12:30PM (at the discretion of the conductor), with one intermission. Open rehearsals are a fascinating opportunity to watch the New York Philharmonic at work and see how a piece of music is shaped and polished by the conductor and the musicians. This rehearsal will be conducted by Matthias Pintscher featuring violin soloist Renaud Capuçon. The program includes Ravel’s Alborada del gracioso, Stravinsky’s The Firebird and the New York Premiere of Mar’eh by Matthias Pintscher.
