Dr. Jill Baron, one of New York’s cutting-edge Integrative and Functional Medicine physicians, will unveil a new paradigm for healthcare and startling issues from her latest book, Don’t Mess with Stress! Dr. Baron combines conventional primary care medicine with holistic and mind-body therapies, including nutrition and weight management; lifestyle counseling; stress management; and visualization and imagery. She uses a “functional medicine” approach along with her intuition and diagnostic testing to facilitate her patients’ healing. Dr. Baron is also a consultant on Dr. Oz’s Sharecare.com website and has been on television and radio speaking on health. She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Stony Brook, as well as a Visiting Attending at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Baron received her BA from Princeton, an MS, Physiology from Georgetown University and MD from The Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
Wendy Gerber, a Princeton classmate, will interview Dr. Baron, drawing out her multifaceted talents and experience. Gerber is a global corporate strategy and brand marketing consultant. She has worked with Ralph Lauren, Kenneth Cole and Citigroup and developed partnerships for clients with Bloomberg, Verizon, the NBA and governmental bodies. Gerber graduated from Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School, NYU Law and attended the Wharton School for executive education as a UBS Scholar.
