From creativity in the workplace to the art market, Amy Whitaker and Nicole Cosgrove will weave together the surprising overlaps of creativity, art, and business to inspire and expand the way we think about the design of our personal and professional lives.

Amy Whitaker, author of Art Thinking: How to Carve Out Creative Space in a World of Schedules, Budgets, and Bosses, is an assistant professor of Visual Arts Administration at New York University. She holds an MBA from Yale and an MFA in painting from University College London. Whitaker began her career at art museums, which include the Guggenheim, MoMA, and Tate, and her career in finance at D.E. Shaw & Co., L.P.

Nicole Cosgrove is a strategy consultant to creative industry startups and currently advises a mix of art, fashion, and tech companies. She holds an MA in Modern Art and Critical Theory from Columbia and an MBA from NYU Stern. She has worked in curatorial departments at the MFA Boston, MoMA, the Whitney, and serves on the Visiting Committee of the Williams College Museum of Art.
