Airport Travel
When it comes to traveling to and from the airport most people just assume taxi or car service. However there are some other cheaper alternatives. Here are a few ways of getting to and from JFK & LGA airports.
Shuttle Bus The New York Airport Service runs a bus from Grand Central to JFK & LGA Airports. For schedule & ticketing information visit nyairportservice.com or contact the Front Desk.

Grand Central to JFK Grand Central to LGA
One Way $15.00 $20.00
Round Trip $27.00 $21.00
Travel Time 1 hour 45 minutes
*Travel time depends on time of day. Time will be longer during rush hour.
AirTrain to JFK The airport has a $5.00 shuttle that runs from Jamaica Station in Queens to the airport to JFK. To get from The Williams Club to the AirTrain there are two options, the subway or the Long Island Railroad.

By subway: Take the 6 Subway to 51st Street, then transfer to the E subway to Jamaica. Then transfer to the AirTrain from Jamaica.
Total Cost: $7.00; Travel Time: 55 – 70 minutes.

By LIRR: From Penn Station take a train to Jamaica station ($5.00 – $7.00) then hop on the AirTrain from there.
Total Cost: $10.00 – $13.00; Total Travel Time: 35-45 minutes.

Taxi Cab One of the easiest and most commonly used forms of getting to the airport is to hail a cab. Unfortunately you cannot call for a yellow cab in New York city (see car service below). However, if you go out to Madison or Park Avenue and hail a cab, you can be at the airport within the hour. It will most likely be less but we always recommend giving yourself 1 hour to get to the airport. The taxi rate is usually around $45.00 – $50.00 one-way, but as always, this depends on traffic.
Car & Limousine Service If you would like to order a car service, our front desk staff will be happy to order one for you. The service we usually use is Carmel Limousine Service.
