- Cancellations must be received by 4:30 pm two business days prior to the event or program in order to avoid incurring a charge. All cancellations received after this deadline and no-shows will be charged the full price of the event or program.
- A $10 no show fee will be incurred with free events if reservations are not cancelled by noon on the day of the event.
- Any exceptions to this policy will be noted in event descriptions.

| COST |
$60 per person

McLean ’92 will provide guests with an exclusive sneak-peak at her new book, All the Devils are Here, over dinner. Our House Jazz Band will provide live music through the course of night, turning it up for post-dinner drinks and dancing.
McLean ’92 was instrumental in breaking the Enron scandal while serving as Editor-at-Large for Fortune Magazine. McLean ’92 is widely acknowledged as the first journalist to question Enron’s inflated stock price with her March 5, 2001 article in Fortune, “Is Enron Overpriced?” In 2003 she co-wrote a book about the scandal, The Smartest Guys in the Room. It was developed into an Academy award nominated documentary in 2005.
While providing a sneak peak into her new book, All the Devils are Here, McLean ’92 will acknowledge the current financial crisis by explaining its affect on business environments, particularly the world of journalism. McLean will also talk about why the Enron scandal was the canary of the coalmine for what came later. Finally, McLean ’92 will acknowledge the enduring value of a liberal arts education. |

Thursday, July 29
| TIME |
1:00pm Tea Time
2:00pm Tour of Gracie Mansion |
| COST |
$27 per person
Includes substantial tea and tour of the historic mansion |

Join us for a special afternoon at one of New York City’s most treasured landmarks: Gracie Mansion. Built in 1799 by shipping merchant Archibald Gracie as a country retreat overlooking a bend in the East River, the house is the last of the country homes that once lined Manhattan’s East River shore. Since 1942, the House has served as the Official Residence of the Mayor of the City of New York. In 2002, the House was restored to its original grandeur and transformed into “The People’s House” under the guidance of the Gracie Mansion Conservancy, a private not-for-profit corporation established in 1981 to preserve, maintain, and enhance Gracie Mansion.
So spend an afternoon with fellow Club members exploring one New York’s most treasured landmarks. Enjoy tea service in Gracie Mansion’s Ballroom -- featuring a generous selection of home-made finger sandwiches and home-baked scones and tea cakes -- followed by a tour of the historic house. Guests are welcome to relax in Carl Schurz Park after the tour or take in the breathtaking views along the East River promenade.

Beer History Tour of Europe - Annual All-Ivy Beer Tasting
Wednesday, August 11
| TIME |
6:30 - 8:30pm |
| COST |
$32, plus tax and gratuity |
| DESCRIPTION |
Join members of our fellow Ivy-Clubs at this year's Annual All-Ivy Beer Tasting at The Harvard Club of New York.
Porters and stouts developed in Britain and Ireland. Stout was beer in Ireland for more than a century. Similarly, lagers, particularly pale lagers (of which Pilsner is one), were closely linked to Germany and the countries just east of it. But in the 18th century Britain
developed stouts and porters for the Baltic market, and some breweries there adopted the new style. In the following century, pale lagers were sent westward, and by the end of the 20th century, lagers were the most popular beer in Ireland. Over time, therefore, darker beers moved east as paler beers moved west. Come join us for a European frolic through the lens of beer at our annual All-Ivy
beer tasting.
The Harvard Club is located at 35 West 44th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Cancellations must be received by Wednesday, August 4. |
